The
Amazing Tei Street is a national motivational speaker with StreetTalk:
Motivational Messaging for the Masses. She enjoys imparting positive
messages to youth and young adult audiences.
Tei has a fundamental belief that youth are the key to much of what ails
America.

She admonishes young people to make good decisions, devoid of the negative
influences of others. She quotes Dr. Benjamin Mays in saying, “No one is
good enough, wise enough, or cares enough for you to turn over to them your
future and your destiny!”
Her message is funny, inspiring, bold, and essential. Tei’s message has been
well received by the thousands of youth who have had the opportunity to hear
it. She is highly recommended by young people because her message is fresh,
contemporary, and motivating.
Tei received her undergraduate and
graduate degrees from The Ohio State University. She serves as Chair of the
Columbus Youth Commission Advisory Board, Secretary of the Board of Trustees
for I Know I Can, member of the National WAND Youth Advisory Board, former
member of the Board of Trustees of Lutheran Social Services and City Year
Columbus.
Tei is the recipient of the Chamber of Commerce’s “Outstanding Young Citizen
Award,” Business First Magazine’s “Forty Under 40 Award,” City Year’s
“Moccasin Award,” and is listed in the 2004-07 editions of “Who’s Who in
Black Columbus.” Tei is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
Inc., Columbus (OH) Alumnae Chapter, and the Black Women’s Collective (BWC).
When not working or on the road speaking, Tei can be found playing football,
baseball, or skating with her son Christopher. |
